Hello Draglink Super Crew,,,,It's time again to remember those people that brought "special moments" to one's life....Da was one of those people,,,he died several years ago, Dec. 12, 2002...and let us reflect again on him...Several years ago I composed the following letter to you and his wife Barb and it's is as "freah" now as it was then...............................................I joined your web-site in an attempt to send an
e-mail to Barb Santucci
.......,She & her husband , Dominic A Santucci,
were friends of mine and I was honored and priviledged enough to crew for
him in the last couple of DA's racing years...Along with another mutual
friend , Frank Wilczynski , "SKI", we followed "DA" to various NHRA ,IHRA
,and other race events..What a wonderful time and also what a "dreamlike "
opportunity to be there on the starting line along side that "fire breathing
/ nitro burning monster",,,,and "DA" and the crew....Incredible memories
!!!! Many people were surprised at the professionalism , quality car prep,
expert driver times and his skill,,that was the type of guy he was,,,but many
never got to see the gentle personal side of "DA",,,, he was one nice man !
In a way, that is why I contact you now , Dominic A. Santucci passed away
Dec 12, 2002 and I want to tell him and Barb that "he's remembered often and

Thanks for remembering "DA", Mitch. Sadly, like BP, I never had the pleasure of either knowing or meeting "DA"...But I am proud as the nbc peacock to call his lovely wife, Barb, my friend.

Eight short years ago, the love of my life lost his 2 and half year battle with cancer. Seems like only yesterday.

I'm so thankful to have so many dear friends .. thanks from the bottom of my heart.

Barb knows he was one of my all-time favorite guys and I think of him often. On rare occasions, I'll perform my D.A. "tire shake" impersonation for those who knew him.

I sure hope you can idle straight down the 1/4 mile without hitting anything and not come away with a headache like he had. Haven't watched that tape in a long time. I do, however, watch a couple that are very special to the both of us. Guess I still owe you that dinner too
