No....not that "Z". Jeff decided to buy a cop magnet today. He bought a '95 Z-28. It's got SS badges on it, but in real life it's a "Z". It's got a fresh (4,000 miles) LT1 in it with some portin', forged bottom end, new rear end with 4:10 gear, 6 spd. It's a hoot to drive. Very clean for a 11 yr. old car. He's happy, I think he did good.

BTW: He's got his '85 Berlinetta Camaro for sale if anybody is looking for a project.

i had a 96 z28 lt1 6 cog back in jan,feb of this year, veeeeeeeeeery fun to powerslide around everything, sold it for 4k, the kid had it 3 weeks and totaled it, neighbor bought the engine and trans for $1500.00, guess i got a little off track, nice car man

Jeff's never driven anything but an automatic. So, when we get back this weekend I gotta' take him out N' show em' how to drive this thang. It scoots purdy' good for a daily driver. Hope he stays outa' trouble.

Don't tell him this, but when I was his age that car would have me ................. well ........ let's just say I might as well have my own book of tickets printed up with my name imprinted on the (offenderz') line.

Funny you should say that Mike. That's exactly what the seller told Jeff.

He stayed home this weekend for work. He's started installin' the Tenzo seats I bought for the "Z". I decided to go aluminum, so he grabbed 'em. He's transferring the stereo set-up out of his old car & a few other little things he wants to do. 1 being buyin' a new set of tires for the back end. I told 'em drag radials & daily driver don't mix so good. So, he's pickin' up some street tires & holdin' onto the radials for when he wants to play.
