Thanks to Bill Turney for this.
Arizona has lost another of the drag racers from the early years. Don "Lefty" Little passed away after a long battle with Parkinson's disease on December 11, 2011. He was inducted into the Arizona Drag Racing Hall of Fame in 2006, along with his partners J.T. Stewart and Jim Estes (RIP). Lefty drove most of the cars that J.T. Stewart fielded in the early years, with the most successful being the "Big Red" fuel dragster which qualified #8 in the first 64 car field at Bakersfield in 1964. RIP my friend.
