Thanks Goat,
Blondie sure as hell wasn't any of the groups I was thinking of.
I was thinking more along the lines of Pat Benatar, The Ramons, The Knack and what ever band did the song about Cleveland, Ohio's Rivers
Damn I must be getting old I used to be good at music trivia
I would have liked to met her in my birthday suite.

Cool! That was The Pretenders with Chrissie Hynde singing about going back to Ohio. She's from Akron. I saw that scene in that movie last night, too! Crazy, man! Cheers, WC1

Wife # 1 hated Blondie !! if we were having a conversation and a Blondie video came on tv (mtv) i was mezmerized by her and totally lost in a different world until a hard smack against the side of my head by the wife brought me back to my miserable situation

My wife looked like Debby Harry back then, only better. She was drop-dead gorgeous from head to toe. She liked Blondie. I guess I was lucky in that respect. But if I took a second look at Pat Benatar, I was in for it.

wife #1 was a good piano player, alto sax, flute and clarinette player in hi-school.. i Married her shortly after unc was killed.. i hopped her up so to speak.. modeling school, new hair and clothes.. one of these days i will post a before and after deal

.. I did TOO GOOD of a job on her then all the hi-rollers started paying attention to her at the disco's and i was "outbid "... oh well it was fun while it lasted

Damn! Deb Harry, the goddess that went from Max's Kansas City waitress getting stiffed on tips by Lou Reed to the lady we loved make 'punk' accessible. Opened for "Iggy and Ziggy" tour in Mar.'77...wow (pant!).
MY ex-wife was nearly a double for "Dreamboat Annie" Wilson of Heart..and I was a multishow groupie back in '78-'81...good thing I waited til '87 to get hitched.....
