I have always used timken ,and tried different kinds of packing grease in the bearing and hub. What drag weight are you looking for ?
I was told by an old timer petroleum jelly was what he used ,so i gave it a shot and liked it .But keep in mind you will have to check the hubs frequently.

mostly looking for durability , I have heard that skf is now making there bearings elsewhere and their has been problems with cratering and flaking , as for the drag as little as possible , we used to use crisco and check every round ( I had a grease gun filled with the stuff ) and replaced them every 3 race sessions, timken I know for a long time has had a good finish but they are hard to get for certain apps.
