Johnny Loper from Arizona who raced in the gas classes with his " Lil Hoss" and "Old Hoss" cars, passed away last night. Just last night I was looking at some pictures a friend took duing the AHRA nationals at Beeline Dragway, and there was a picture of Johnnys' A/G Anglia. RIP my friend and thank you for the memories.

One of the greats whose hard running and good looking were major players in many eras. Farewell, Hoss... bp

jeeez..... sad news.... i was just watching Decade of Thrills the other night and one of my favorite clips is with him and Tripp and family.....

His Anglias and lone Maverick gasser were killer cars that could held their own with any A/Gasser including A/Gas king Fred Hurst. He was a good representative for the state of Arizona
