In a season marred by the loss of several top drag racing superstars, the sport suffered perhaps its hardest loss over the weekend. 17 year old jet dragster driver Kendall Hebert crashed and suffered fatal injuries on October 1 in Ontario. She reportedly had just finished a 480 mph pass (298 mph). With my own son just a year younger, I cannot fathom the sense of loss Kendall's family must be experiencing.
