New Funny Car Champ Gary Scelzi squeaked out a tight Championship by 8 points over his buddy but fierce competitor Ron Capps.

F/C Champ Gary Scelzi was in a jovial mood during his trophy acceptance ceremony.

Pro Stock Bike Angelle Sampey qualified 5th win a 7.074 sec 189.95 mph pass. Angelle pulled a red light in Round Two against Chip Ellis.

Top Alky Dragster winner Bill Reichert qualified 2nd and then beat Steve Torrence in the Final Round for the win.

Top Alky Funny Car winner Steve Gasparrelli qualified 13th. Final Round saw Steve's opponent David Ray pull a big fat red light giving Gasparrelli the easy win.

Chuck Smithfield is retiring and what better way to finish it than to win the Competion Eliminator event.

Super Gas Mike Blodgett wins a Final Round double breakout. Mike runs a 9.896 to Loreen Johnson's 9.894 for the 9.90 Index.

Tony Pedregon won the Funny Car event against Eric Medlen in the Final Round.

Nostalgia Funny Car of old, the Blue Max, was on hand to show the crowd how they used to look.

Aaron Olivarez qualified #3 for Top Alky Dragster with a 5.300 sec 269.56 mph. Aaron lost in the Semis to eventual winner Bill Reichert.
