The "Other" Marines Funny Car

Mike Ditty was roaming the Seattle pits in 1978 and shot this U.S. Marines Arrow AA/Funny Car. It was not the better-known Mickey Thompson & Bob Pickett machine, but one belonging to Northwest nitro veteran "Nitro" Nick Harmon. "Nitro" Nick was a low buck racer who always showed well at the many fuel car match races held in the Great Northwest.  This U.S. Marines Arrow was not around for long. Soon, Harmon was back on his own with the ex Bubble-Up/Pacemaker Trans Am in which Gordie Bonin won so many races.
