Rare Bird!

Here is a rare shot of one of the best-looking Top Alcohol Funny Cars of the mid-1980s. Rick Wayne’s Trans Am was built with best of everything you could get in 1986. The Kenny Youngblood designed paint scheme was awesome. Rick’s Pontiac was destroyed at this very race in a two-car accident. Terry Mullins hit the wall and  crossed lanes, sideswiping Wayne. Rick rebuilt for the next year, but was out of racing by 1988.
