Curt Wasson had one of the best pure Chevy powered funny cars with the “Superstitious” Vega. The little Vega could run mid-sixes with the best of them. Curt was a regular match racer East of the Rockies in the early days of funny cars. He was set to make his return to racing with the “Million Dollar Baby” Monza when he died in a highway accident.
