Bob Brown captured this classic shot of the most successful AA/FA of the 60s. Rich Guasco’s “Pure Hell” Bantam won more AA/FA races with Dale “The Snail” Emery at the wheel than any other team. Guasco and Emery started with a little Chevy (as pictured) and later ran a Hemi that ran a best of 7.69 seconds in the quarter mile.
