Thomas Motorsports Update

Thomas Motorsports had an up and down weekend at the ADRL Dragapalooza race at Houston. Ken Thomas made it to the semi-finals in Pro Nitrous, while Heath Harvey's Pro Mod debut was cut short by breakage.  Ken Thomas ran several 4-teens on Saturday. He defeated Georgia winner Harold Martin in the first round and got past Randy Weatherford in the second round. Johnny Pilcher stopped Thomas in the semis with a 4.04.

Heath Harvey’s debut was promising in Houston. In testing he ran a 4.31 on his first full pass. On his third pass, he suffered breakage. He broke two pistons and a rocker arm. A helicoil was also broken and could not be fixed. Both cars will be at the first TOPMA race this weekend at Kennedale. Ken Thomas will be defending his second place finish from last year. He’s in third place in ADRL points right now.
