Four to Go!

In the early seventies it was not unusual for tracks to do stunts. At Maryland International Raceway they staged four funny cars for an eighth mile exhibition. The track did it with the nitro cars as well as the injected cars. In this photo we have three of the four cars involved. In the front we have Randy Bray in the Hippie Hemi, in the middle is Butch Kernodle and the All American, and on the far side is Joltin' Joe Fennessy in his short Pinto.
