Roger Garten made a successful switch from a supercharged gasser to a fuel altered. Garten was a force to be dealt with in all the classes he raced in, but this altered was his most famous. The Tocco-Harper-Garten team raced with the Chevy (as shown in the photo), then a 392 Chrysler Hemi with the engines built by Bishop & Buehl Racing Engines. The beautiful altered was later restored and ran again for a couple of years.
