Jim Jackson's Mean Corvette

Jim Jackson's Corvette was one of the toughest BB/FCs of the seventies. Powerd by a Dale Armstrong prepped Donovan, the car ran 6.60s and could outrun many nitro powered cars of its era! The great Simon Menzies earned an AHRA BB/FC championship in 1978 in Jackson's mean, green Chevy. Menzies was part of the Torrance, California, alky scene that included Dale Armstrong, Ken Veney, Billy Williams, and Wilfred Boutilier. These guys dominated Pro Comp throughout the 70s.
