US Outlaw Nationals Limited Street

| Scott Thomas came from Louisiana to race this wicked looking Nova, Thomas ran a best of 5.13 losing in the first round. |

| Marc McClaskey drove this truck from Mabank and was even in a little accident getting into the track, but he still raced running a best of 5.644. |
An excellent field of 23 real 10.5 cars made it to the US Outlaw Nationals to battle for the $10,000 dollar prize being offered to the winner. Jeff Pailk was the number one qualifier with a 4.81 and the bump was a 5.19 held by Jason Michalak.

| Jimmy Gardner got a solo in the first round when Justin Curry broke. |
Starting the first round, Lamar Swindoll ran a 5.06 151.27 to beat Rob Valden who received a red light. Juston Curry broke giving Jimmy Gardner a single, Gardner blew the tires off while winning the race. Jeff Pailk beat Jason Micalak next with a 4.84 to the losing 5.162 of Michalak. Chad Revia beat JoJo Melton 4.869 161.38 to 5.125 149.61 in a turbocharged race. Cajun Garret Wilson and Kenjo Kelly raced next, Kelly won this 4.94 160.69 to 5.01 150. Keith Szabo beat Scott Thomas who broke in his satin black Nova, Szabo ran a 4.831 166.15 on the solo. Tony Thorn and Thema Diaz was the next pair, Thorn broke off the lane. Diaz ran a good 4.96 to win the race. The final pair was Mike Croix and John Sheffield. Croix beat Shefield 4.992 to 5.640.

Two Houston racers raced to begin the second round. Lamar Swindoll and Thema Diaz both race Mustangs but Diaz is a Fox body. Diaz upsets Swindoll 4.96 to 4.97 in tight battle. Jeff Paulk's 4.85 158.09 beat the tire smoking Kenjo Kelly and his 5.507. Keith Szabo beat Mike Croix next, Szabo's 4.91 covered the 5.05 of Croix. Chad Revia beat Jimmy Gardner to finish the round 4.89 160.23 to 5.505 151.32.

In the semi finals Pailk won again with a 4.85 157.28 to off-paced 8.627 87.30 of Thema Diaz. The next race was a barn burner as Revis sent Szabo home with a 4.898 157.25 to the close 4.916 161.42 by Szabo.

The final was a close one to say the least! with a .003 true win margin the little S-10 of Pailk barely beat the Camaro of Revia who got the holeshot but the loss with a 4.95.
