Bill's Notes: Draglist Contributor of the Week: Dennis Doubleday by Bill Pratt. Dennis Doubleday is no stranger to funny car fans on the internet. His detailed recordkeeping and astute observations have helped Dennis to amass a massive portfolio of information on the sport's early machines, especially funny cars. Dennis' generous sharing of his knowledge and his records have made him a favorite information source for Internet funny car fans for years. Dennis has provided over 500 updates to the drag racing lists alone, and his work has infused the lists with serious details on the sport's formative years. In addition, Dennis has contributed information to nearly all the pages of our funny car sites covering the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Thanks to Dennis, we have a solid handle on the sport's transition of stock machines to funny cars. - Apr 5, 2009
