Danny White is
not the only young guy who has grown up before our eyes at draglist.com. This
week’s draglist Contributor of the Week is Curt Swartz, a friend with whom
we’ve been corresponding since the mid 1980s. Curt was in his mid teens when he
started sharing outstanding funny car stats with us. Later, he shared the
photos of great
Midwest drag racing action taken
by his uncle, Michael Beach. These photos have graced the pages of draglist.com
for years. Curt checked in only periodically as he transitioned from his late
teens to his early 20s, taking the time to move into the working world as a
young man.
The drag racing world is thrilled that Curt is back among us in full
force. He’s a trusted resource on mailing lists like funny car memories, where
he shares his own photos as well as those of Uncle Mike. Curt has recently
begun to run all the old photos through Photoshop or some other magic tool, as
they are looking especially great these days. Curt has been busy replacing his
original submissions with the revamped photos and the lists are looking all the
