Bob Glidden to Compete in Street Car Super Nationals IV

Bob Glidden has just announced that he will drive Kenny Perry's Grand Am in the Outlaw 10.5 class at the Chris Alston's Chassisworks Street Car Super Nationals IV at Las Vegas Motor Speedway November 21-23, 2008. Top racers from across the US and Canada (including Bob's son Bill Glidden) will arrive in Las Vegas for the east versus west Street Car Shootout.
The Grand Am Bob Glidden will be driving is owned by professional golfer Kenny Perry who is the ranked 19th in the world of golf. Powered by a small block from Glidden Racing Engines, and multiple Edelbrock Nitrous Oxide Systems, the Grand Am is a real performer that includes Mickey Thompson ET Drag Slicks.
Last year, this event hosted the Quickest 32-Car Pro Street field in racing history. With a $20,000 purse for the winner, the competition will be one to watch. For information on this event, visit
