The Real DFW Outlaws Invade Kennedale

Friday night was some really great match up racing. We had so many close races that you couldn't tell who was winning until the light told the story!
Round 1 Big Tire:
Mike Kelley def Gary Yarborough
Dan Wozniak def Raymond Longoria
Fred Lee bye (West Side Racing)
Gaylen Smith def Billy Hart (Ghost)
Randy Moore def. Bud Morgan
Round 1 Small Tire:
Little Fernando Ayala (bye)
Al "Snake" Sneed def. Troy Pitts (Tap)
Greg Green def JoJo Melton (fouled)
Nick Williams def Butch Johnson (55 chevy)
Richard Piper def Kevin Sears
Round 2 Big Tire:
Randy Moore def. Gaylen Smith
Now this was the upset win of the night! All bets were on the Kenny Barnes Checkerboard Camaro. Gaylen got the holeshot on Randy and they were almost side by side all the way and Randy was able to get past Gaylen by an inch to take the win!
That was a heckova race! And truley just as exciting. There was a lot of money lost in the stands too. LOL

This was another awesome race, except that Mike Kelley slept on the tree. the holeshot win went to Randy.

Finals:
Actually came down to Big Tire vs. Small Tire
Randy Moore def. Greg Green
Randy was a really good sport about it knowing that the 57 Chevy didn't stand a chance against him, so he gave Greg the "hit." He let him get out there a ways before he even took off.
So, the winner was Randy Moore in Gold Rush. He was the one to win our very 1st race last year. Now he's won the 2nd one this year.
