Results from Saturday night at Northstar.
It was a packed house and the track had several events going at the same time

Randy looked like he was giving him a huge "hit" but the car tried to die on him so he was late leaving the line.

This was the closet race of this round. They were battling for the finish line.

This was a tight race, Eric had the holeshot with a .0150 light and got 3/4s of the track and started for the center line, crossed, and appeared to over correct the car (The Ghost). The car turned dead left into the posts, shattered 5 posts, and went backwards and into a spin. Eric was all over the place just missing the rear of Billy Horner's car. After The Ghost came to a stop after fire, sparks and smoke, Eric emerged from it with only a sore shoulder. The Ghost will be resurrected once again. And we are grateful that Eric sustained very little damage himself.

There was a staging war going on with this one. So, JoJo was fouled for backing the turbo out .

Finals :
It c
ame down to Fernando and Matt. Matt had an .019 light to Fernando's .102 and the "Spanish Fly" reared out of there like a wild horse turned loose and ran Matt down to pass him near the end for the win.
Congrats to Fernando "Spanish Fly" Ayala and Crew on your 2nd win this season.
