Marvin burst onto the national scene in 1974 by winning the prestigious NHRA US Nationals at Indy over a huge field of famous cars. The headlines read, "Marvin WHO?" after the Oklahoma racer beat all the top names. Marvin didn't stay local after that... he was consistently among the quickest and fastest racers in the sport, setting many ET and speed marks.
