In the 1970s, both Butch Leal and the Rod Shop were known as Mopar racers, but by the eighties they had switched to GM. It was this Pontiac Firebird that put Butch Leal among the top NHRA Pro Stock racers in the country. The team featured Leal's great reactions, Rod Shop's power, and backing from Castrol GTX / Nationwise.
