Firestorm at SCR

The pictures show the Firestorm jet-powered funny car being driven by Roger Goring at the National Street Rod Association's Hot Rod Drags meeting held at Shakespeare County Raceway on 16 September 2006.  Firestorm is currently running low 6 second ETs at over 250 mph.  Note the fireman having to support the Christmas tree.  Better him than me!
