Thornton Becomes Texas' Quickest Outlaw 10.5 Racer

Thornton burning out!

Rick Thornton took his Hans Fuestal tuned Corvette to times of 4.50 and 4.53 in testing at Redline Raceway. This makes him the fastest Outlaw 10.5 racer in Texas. Rick made a couple of wild passes with the wheels up way past the haft track point. The team got the weight balance right and broke into the mid fours!

On the first couple of runs Thornton left with the wheels way up.

At the end of a burnout.

This was the problem Thornton faced nearing mid-track!

Great burnout.

The front end was down this time.
