Microsoft Hates Random Rods!
By Bill Pratt
Hey, folks. We love our Random Rods feature... that great thumbnail on the top left of the Draglist.com pages that shows random shots of all the cars on the drag lists. You see one that's cool (aren't they all?) and you click it. Up comes our drag list entry for that car, telling you all about it.
However... we have found that the Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser does NOT like Random Rods! It adjusts the display of the entire page when the Random Rods shifts from one racer photo to the next. This has caused a maddening, jittery screen that makes reading articles nearly impossible.
We are working to fix that issue, but we are happy to report that there are at least three excellent web browsers that do NOT make the screen shift around when Random Rods displays. They are Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Google Chrome. All three are excellent and I highly recommend them. We aren't going to stop looking for an Internet Explorer fix, but we think that if you download one or more of these FREE browsers, you'll find it hard to go back to IE... Here are some links...
