2004 Nostalgia Gasser Reunion: Photo Album 1

By Vic Cooke

Randy Sacksteder's "Hemi-fied" Willys runs as good as it looks

"Wild Willy" came down from St. Thomas, Ontario to compete a the event. High quality piece!

Ron Malmsen's "Barnstormer" Willys hauls more than hay!

"Loonatic Fringe" was one of the contemporary aero-assisted blown Gassers coming in for the Meet.

The Green & Green Anglia was another of the current VRA Gas-class racers.

Tires tell of it's streetability, but absolutely projects "the look."

Don Benedict's "Filthy 42" carries on the tradition of a tough Ohio-based Gasser.

MadDad Racing calms down in the pits.

The "Hombre" Austin was another well-finished racer that ran well.

Bob Sarkisian from Michigan treats the Hoosiers hellaciously in his popular blown Anglia.

No ID on this '34 but a beautiful sight!

Gordon Veal's Mod-Gasser was quickest runner at Thompson with several passes in the 6.90's.

Cincinnati's Jim Wilkens followed up his recent Grumpy Gasser win at Bowling Green by going rounds at Thompson in his "Handshaker."

Team Stacksteder also fielded this potent '66 Vette at the Reunion.

Showcar appearance belies the quickness of this A/G Willys.

Ron Doran charges off the line in "Ferdinand."

What a hot rod!

Eric Rath's and Gene Schwartz's record-holding Chevs have a go at each other.

Eldon Miller's snorkel-nosed '33 Willys scares Democrats and competitors of all political persuasions.
