And In The Beginning There Were Pro Mods
Text by Alan Currans ~ Photos by Benoit Pigeon
Ex-pat Frenchman, now US resident and
professional photographer, Benoit Pigeon is a big fan of the doorslammer
classes. Fortunately for us, he was out
and about with his cameras in the late 1980s and early ‘90s to capture images
of the newly emerging Pro Modified class.
As you will
see, many of the cars look more like modified Pro Stocks than the cars we are
familiar with today. Those with a technical leaning will find
a comparison of those early chassis with current designs of interest.
