Neal Parker burnts out in the Excavator

I made the annual visit to the IHRA Worldnationals again. Way fewer photographers there this year, and looks like IHRA has implemented a similar deal as NHRA with issue of hi-visibility vests to the credentialed corps. Suppose it does make Security's job easier and cut down on starting line mobs, but it sure adds to the challenge of getting presentable photos of the event. At least the entire facility was "open seating" for eliminations, and I was able to stake out reasonable vantage points for pix from the stands.
