Photo Review: NHRA Nationals at Infineon Raceway, Sonoma

Some images from a great weekend of drag racing in beautiful Sonoma County, CA!

"The Angelle Show" : Angelle Savoie grabs the #1 qualifying spot, low ET for the for the class (7.048, a new track record), AND the win for Pro Stock Bike!

Bob Bode qualified 17th, but got a lucky break when Dale Pulde was disqualified.

Bob Gilbertson didn't make the 16-car field with his best qualifying of 5.853/215.31 in the "Jungle Jim" FC.

David Grubnic qualified #1 but was defeated in the final against Doug Kalitta. Here he's shown in the last qualifying pass on Friday night.

Dale Pulde back in the seat of Steve Plueger's Fuel Funny Car on a qualifying pass Saturday. Pulde managed the 16th spot in the field with a 5.220/273.55 run; however, was disqualified later Saturday evening due to not making two consecutive 280 mph runs while updating his racing license.

Tony Schumacher qualified #7 at this event with a 4.709/311.56. Schumacher was defeated in the semifinals by Doug Kalitta.
