Doug Riesterer is within a few weeks of a returning to ADRL and TOPMA competition in his LenMar Motorsports sponsored ’68 Camaro. Doug Riesterer is within a few weeks of a returning to ADRL and TOPMA competition in his LenMar Motorsports sponsored ’68 Camaro. Riesterer has been repairing his Camaro since the crash he had at the opening ADRL race of the year. Since receiving a new Tim McAmis body about 2-1/2 weeks ago, the car has progressed well and is nearing completion.  According to Riesterer he needs to install the windows and build a header before taking the Camaro to the House of Hot Rods, a LenMar company, for some minor body work. The car will then be covered in a LenMar Motorsports designed theme at Skinz Wraps in Dallas.  The team plans to test at Texas Raceway after the car is reassembled. “I’m anxious to get back in the car and I’m confident that with all the talent in the LenMar camp, we’ll get the car sorted out rather quickly,” said Riesterer. Riesterer Racing would like to thank everyone who is making their return to racing possible.  Without all the assistance from LenMar Motorsports, Al Anabi Racing, Tim McAmis Race Cars, Speedtech Nitrous, Reher-Morrison Racing Engines, Santhuff Suspension Specialists, and K&S Machine the car would definitely have been sidelined for the remainder of the 2009 season.
