Poindexter Wins First Outlaw Top Sportsman Race

There were six teams tough enough to make it to Temple for the Saturday race. I talked with Hutch and he agreed that we put on a great show. We started earlier in the afternoon and the track was hotter than usual. The crowd was enthusiastic. We had lots of encouraging comments.

These guys met in the first round at Kennedale the night before with the same results: Greg just barely went red. Randy looks like he has the Little River track dialed in.

Mat has a good light, but gets a little out of shape. The small block runs the second best time in eliminations. Just goes to show that even the best drivers don’t always get it right.

Mat has another good light, and manages to hold off Randy. Randy said he did not change a thing, but the car just did not run the same.

Chuck has a great light and Mat’s nitrous did not work for him. Chuck gets the win.

Congratulations to Chuck and Randy for their win and #1 qualifer at Little River Dragway. It is good to see Chuck in the winners circle. Also congratulations to Mat, Stan, and Kacy for their runner up finish.
