Schmidt Wins Woodburn All Harley Northwest Nationals
New track records for both ET and MPH were set in Top Fuel Harley at the AHDRA Northwest Nationals at Woodburn Dragstrip on August 21, 22, and 23. Racers from across the entire USA descended on Woodburn for the most prestigious Harley drag race west of the Mississippi. It was an excellent weekend of intense competition and the results exceeded all expectations. Points leader, Jay Turner from Julian, NC, set the low ET record for as he blasted through the traps in 6.589 seconds. Phil Schmidt, from Orangeville, CA set the top mph record at 218.44 while also winning the event.
