Notes: Per Jim Hill, this was a Miami-area car (Ben "Junior" Diener, George Sparks and Eddie Careccia) that was built to be a look-alike to the Logghe "Giant Killer." The car ran a 389" Chevy on 98% nitro. It ran 7.9's and 8.0's at 185-188 mph. The Logghe 'glass body is easy to see in these shots. The body was the standard Logghe fiberglass body. JM |
