I've attached a couple of my shots from a Miami-area car (Ben "Junior" Diener, George Sparks and Eddie Careccia) that was built to be a look-alike to the Logghe "Giant Killer." The car ran a 389" Chevy on 98% nitro. It ran 7.9's and 8.0's at 185-188 mph. The Logghe 'glass body is easy to see in these shots. The body was the standard Logghe fiberglass body that came on all their cars, including the "Slot Racer" style unblown cars. Although a long way (light years?) from the beauty of a classic Tom Hanna creation, this deal was light and functional. These were shot at Valkaria Dragway near Melbourne, Florida, in about 1966.
