yes it is an oil pressure port. it is above the filter so it should be after the filter. it is 3/8's pipe thread. hope this helps you.

thanks for the nice comments guys, but it's truly a joint effort w/the old man. we both can't wait to get behind the wheel especially since this is our first complete car that we have ever built!

The car looks good. Is there enough clearance to get that distributor out? well rock, it's a trick! you hafta take the cap and rotor off to do it, but it can be done! (dad's car is the same way) that's the price you pay for putting the motor that far back :lol: i think it's either 5 or 6 " beh...
