If it would stay dry, the cars would fly. It is only low 60's here now and cloudy. It is supposed to be a high of 60 tomorrow. However it will have rain both days around here.

I bet the corrected air here now is down around 1000 foot. Can you say, Haul A**, sure you can!

Well, as luck would have it, the rains didn't subside so we stayed home. It gave me a chance to fill up the new tranny with fluid and check everything out. I brought this laptop out to the garage, hooked up my web cam, and broadcased the firing up over the internet. I was talking to Bee via MSN instant messanger, and she was watching and listening to the entire thing. I have a web site all set up so that multi people can view the broadcast, but with me being on a wireless connection and having the web cam on it was more than my computer could handle and that wouldn't work.

The transmission is working great, everything is clean, and I'm heading out to a car show at the beach. I wish I had a video camera mount in the car, this would be a great time to try it out. I have to park the trailer about an 1/8th mile away from where I will be parking, it would have made for a nice clip. Hmmm, I might try something else instead, we'll see.

The show today was great! I couldn't tell you if I won a trophy or not, I really wasn't there for that anyway. I got to drive the car on the street for a total of about 1/4 mile from where we unloaded to where our reserved parking spot was. It was non-stop crowds of people looking and asking questions all day long. Started the car up a couple of times to give the crown the "Shock and Awe" treatment. It's amazing how big of a smile someone can get when they hear the rumble of raw horsepower. Naturally it helps when you clean out the cylinders a few times. When it was time to leave, the show staff, being made up entirely of police, wanted me to do a burnout in the middle of the street. I almost did it until the Cheif mentioned that it probably wouldn't be a good idea as it may let the other show people think they could do the same thing. I agreed and waited till I got in the empty parking lot by myself. I have a short video of me driving on the street mixing it up with the locals. I'm still uploading pictures, so as soon as they are done, I'll post some links rather than load up this place with a ton of them.

Here is the video anyway. Nothing spectacular, just a little cruise.
