Canadian dollar has dropped even more. One CDN dollar would = .67. Flights will cost more to Nashville also. It's looking unlikely that we will come this year.

There is still a little time left, maybe it will swing back the other way. ( I don't know anything about world currency) but THIS is just NOT acceptable. Boyd & Susan are part of our core group.

If this snowfall keeps up, it might be questionable for Denise, too. She was already up against the deadline for her school to let out. But every snow day we experience adds another day to the end of the school year. We might have to fly her out for the event and fly her back. Will keep an eye on it. bp

Oh, yeah. sucks to be a kid these days. Back when I was a kid I didn't want to hear about school until after Labor Day and didn't want to be in school any later than Memorial Day! (Although I think we did go until the first week of June). bp

I'm sorry to hear this but of course I understand. When I was in the Navy in Europe in the 70s and 80s, some countries I was rich and in others I was a pauper! It all depended on the going exchange rate at the time. bp

Sorry to hear this Boyd. Maybe things will work out so that you can reschedule later and still make it. Surely there is an insurance company that isn't as bad as the one you have now? Does that mean that all of your US travels will be cancelled?

I'm going by memory (not a goota' thing at my age, 63 today), but aren't you, BP & I the only 3 that have been to all 10 DLN's?
