A friend of many years and my friend Colin's muse and the only woman he ever truly loved. She was a deputy sherriff in Galveston for the last decade, a wonderful lady to all who knew her. The song, "Sande" that Colin wrote about her was performed and recorded by the Temperature Men in the mid-80s when I was in the band. The definitive version of the song has been downloaded over a quarter of a million times since it went online 8 years ago. Sande was a beautiful person and her memory will remain with us. God has given her rest at last. I'm putting in some photos from the benefit the Blue Knights of Texas, a motorcycle club, held for her recently. The first is a picture of Sande and the second is a picture of the hot rod the Sherriff's dept. sponsors. That hinged hood is an interesting feature...don't see a lot of them...RIP Sande...WC1
