THAT would be fun! Too bad there wouldn't be enough free space to do ten feet (until the middle of the night)! bp

Don't forget we did that once already... when Big Daddy put the Swamp Rat into the Smithsonian... I wasn't there for the fire up, but I was honored to be able to attend the black tie party at the museum to put it in there. Also got to go to the one where they put the Bruce Larson car in... Yes, I'm a lucky dog! bp

Reminds me of the time I got into town around sun-up one Sunday mornin'. (My younger dayz') Main drag was completely deserted. I rolled all the window down in the GTO to get max effect. Then did I good ol' tire roast for 2 blocks. Sounded sooooo cool echoin' off the store fronts.

called diyautune.com this morning to find out where the heck my megasquirt is, turns out they had the wrong address, 107 west marshall street instead of 107 west commercial street  they said they'll put the double throwdown shipping on it this time, more to come, just a minor pause in the action, all the parts are here for the 283v2.1, you guys can call it whatever you want but i'm calling it the 2.1 deal with it

been doing a little " creative wiring " today to get the megasquirt to work with a gm tuned port, by creative wiring i mean that i shredded a $300.00 custom built harness that i ordered for a tuned port about two years ago, threw about half of it in the spare parts box. the db37 (chrome) connector is the output for the 'squirt, all i need now is a new soldering iron (my old one's 40w, i need a 20w) some heat shrink, new solder, anti static wristband, and a solder wick and i should be in buisiness.
