Hello folks,...the Germinator LIVES........
On saturday Dave and I , and a couple of other gents that showed
up at Daves this past saturday took the first steps torwards the
2007 nhra lucas oil racing series by firing up the new Germinator
TA/FC. With a fresh WAR 526 and a new chassis, wiring, switches,
hoses, oil and fuel, the deamons came to life on two seperate
fire ups. With me in the drivers seat getting use to a positive/push
morse cable from the loud pedal to the injector hat, i went threw the
normal warm up and staging the car procedures to collect some data
to review in the trailer.
With 28* timing in the motor it was snappy and crisp, no
leaks, no errors, and nothing but home runs, i pulled the bottom
end down and pulled rod and mains, inspected filter and pushrods
and gave the motor a clean bill of health.
Dave and I then removed the tranny to get to the clutch and removed
all the certifyable componets to ship out for certification.
ITS ALIVE ,..ITS ALIVE.....
is it MAY yet,..is it May yet.....lol

Congrats Guys!! That is sweet news!

What Heads are on it? What combustion size chambers?

Most of the small chamber alky guys say 26 is good, 27 is ok if the fuel is dead on,,,or at 27 and higher it takes the bearings out of it on the run.
