Are you gonna run a glide Gary? If so what kind of shifter? I got my reasons for asking. :)
If you think it's exciting now, wait till we start it.

Rocky talked me into a TH400. But I mounted the (removable) crossmember as far forward as I could. I could change it to a glide if needed, I have both cases for mock-up, but the plan for now is the 400.
Being a mild steel chassis I don't look for the car to be very light.

When the time comes to order roll bar padding, get the 1/2" thick stuff. I wish I had picked that when I was doing my cage.

Yea' I planned to use the (what I call) funny car stuff. Thin but still legal. They've got it in stock @ Winner's Circle in Joliet.

pro, I hope you were fully suited up and had all the seat padding and such in place when you set all the clearances. Those things do make a difference.
