it would be awesome to be a hired shoe, even if it is in a cave (sorry about all the caveman remarks, but it's just too easy) i'm also looking forward to some more of your "what i did this weekend reports, those are always good reading.

I am pretty excited to get this chance also. It will be fun.

On a different note. I got the rear deck painted today. Then went to the race shop, and Scott and I fitted some more pieces. The hand brake has been rubbing my leg. So today we bent the Aluminum brake handle to clear better. We have been talking, I think I am going to extend it so it is a bit taller. Then bend the upper area so it will be easier to get my hand from the brake handle to the steering wheel.

We have everything done on the throttle pedal except the cross-brace that will hit the adjustable throttle stop. Scott built a battery box and mount today. It is getting pretty close to ready to strip and send off to the blaster so I can paint the chassis. Then he will assemble the car while I do the paintwork on the new body. 8)

My wife just saw that and said "Is Rapid a gynecologist?"

It is the right color,,really!

Weird how the camera takes different color shots at different views.

Pretty shiney, for a part time painter!

Chair where I waited,,,not so paitently, between coats.

Here is a shot of all the goodies mounted behind my seat. The fresh air bottle, Lencodrive overflow bottle, battery, and puke tank. There is a ton more room in the new car than in the 23T car.

Paint looks GREAT...first thing I saw with the 2 cars sitting next to each other is the angle of the new one...semi-lay-down...lower, raked back, not one inch of unused space...very cool pics, Rapid...the 23 T looks fantastic, and you guys'll get what you ask for it, no doubt...can't wait to see the coupe all dressed-out! Thanks for the pics. They offer a great comparison...you sit and watch paint dry, too? I thought I had a monopoly on that deal! It does give ya time to think, though, don't it...Cheers, WC1

Thanks Guys! I appreciate you taking time to look this stuff over.

I haven't decided what to do on the new car. I have one idea in mind. WC, give me a pm if you are interested in hearing the idea in my old brain. If you don't have the time it is cool. You did such a great job on the concept dragging out of me what I was thinking but couldn't do myself.
