yeah - every once in a while the racing gods decide to grant a wish or 2 and actually provide us with a something that doesn't require more work than you expected... 8)

Well... It appears that the nature gods have overrun the racing gods this time.
Was hauling some rocks in from the woods for a rock garden behind the house this weekend and apparantly picked up a few rocks (ok - maybe they were small boulders...) too many. The chiropractor says it's not too bad and is fixable, but it looks like it may be a few weeks before I'm going to be able to do things like lift cranks into blocks, torque studs, lift trannys onto the back of a block - all that important stuff ;)

Perry, and anyone else for that matter, if you are looking for Golf Cart upgrades, dress-up, or parts in general, check out this place - http://buggiesunlimited.com/

Order a free catalog, but watch out, it's almost as addicting as drag racing!

We solved the golf cart problem a couple of weeks ago - guess I forgot to mention it...

We went down to the local Commasaki dealer and bought us a Mule. They had a 4x4 that had been on the lot about a year and a half - apparently their customer base is more offroad performance oriented and they sell Yamaha Rhino's like hotcakes, but the Mules move slower because they are more of a utility vehicle. They gave me a decent deal on it, so we brought it home.

It's a pretty neat little toy to use around the woods, and we ought to be able to tow 3 drag cars around with the thing :)

Cool deal!! I've been reading quite a bit about those Rhino's on one of the RV forums I belong to. I like the sounds of the Mule. When you get a chance, see if you can post a pic of it.

I'll do that.
I did a lot of research on the two of them, they're pretty comparable. Performance-wise the Rhino comes out on top, but I don't need to go flying around the trail at high rates of speed. Towing and hauling they are pretty much identical. The mule's a little smaller, which I liked since it has to fit in the front of the trailer - I think it's only like 10" longer than the golf cart. The real clincher for me was the price - the rhino's go for a couple grand more.
Of course it works really well to haul rocks out of the woods too....
