I agree - he was one of my favourite authors too. There's a copy of Slaughterhouse 5 in the bookcase I may just read again.

The last one of his books I remember reading was "Slapstick" and I thoroughly enjoyed it. He will not be replaced. More and more, people are just watching DVDs, based on books. Some folks still get more pleasure out of reading. This guy could really create incredible mental scenery...RIP, Kurt, and thanks for your great art. WC1
