Farewell, Don. For decades, he was a must see attraction in Hawaii... basically the Wayne Newton of that tropical paradise... RIP. bp

A great entertainer and for many years, the unofficial representative of the style, culture and music of Hawaii. He helped greatly to make Hawaii as much of a state as Nevada for tourism. My parents saw him perform in the mid-60s when they went to Honolulu. My Dad said his show was a highlight of the entertainment they enjoyed while they were there...RIP, Don. And thanks for doing it. WC1

There were always three must do-s for any successful visit to Oahu:
Don Ho at the Hilton
Pearl Harbor visit
Luau at night

Sail on Don.
