I don't usually post something like this, because it's still raw and in progress, but to show ya I'm doing something, here's what I have so far on the new paint...the Ace's flames and colors, but they're not trimmed out yet so it looks more like a Barracuda FC than a Vega right now...also I am not very pleased with the way I'm doing it and I think I'm going to change what I'm doing...the big yellow flames up at the upper left are the flames I made for Max Naylor's Mopar Pro Stock in 2005. I thought I might be able to take 'em and use 'em on this one, but I don't think so, not this time, anyway! For better or worse, these are current cat tracks...Cheers, WC1

Here are some latest photos of Veneys Vega rebuild.
Got the chassis back, painted the new bars son not to
let them rust, installed the motor, a bell housing, 3 spd lenco,
and the stack injection.
I took the car to the seattle season opener where the Bubble up
car tuned by Roland was there running along with Dave Geeters,
Steve Plueger, Kenny Youngblood where all in attendance.
The Vega was a big hit with the crowd, and also the Guru legends.

Cool Vic!! Question, has the engine been moved between the first orig pic and the other orig pic? I noticed the inj was different. But it looks like the engine placement now is like it was originally in the first handout. The second original shot looks like the engine is further forward.
If you think it's exciting now, wait till we start it.

Steve,...the black and whites above are two different cars.
if you look at the first one, which is the one i have, the
front stacks are right at the edge of the windshield sill.
the second B/W is the 2nd veneys vega, the motor is
out 61 inches, and the 1st vega is at 53 1/2 out.
the motor plate and mounts where never changed in my Vega.
I will also be getting shorter stacks from kinsler.

I "was" gonna make a comment about the clearance to the top of the stacks, Vic...but your already addressing that problem by contacting Kinsler about the shoter stacks....Lookin' good, Brudda!!!! 8)
