Everyone, be sure to ask for their "best promotional rate." Most hotels have varying discounts that they will offer but you usually don't get them until you ask for them. Just the way the business works... sort of like auto financing... bp

Draglist Nationals

Postby Norb Locke » Wed May 09, 2007 1:02 am

I called the Comfort Inn this morning and booked a room for Friday and Saturday nights. Asked about the racer rate and was told they no longer did that, I knew it just wanted to make sure she did. She said I will give you the best rate available. $72.21 a night, I asked about AARP and she said this was cheaper than the AARP rate??. Oh well just need a place to sleep. Hey, if we do a Friday night dinner thing how about that pasta place this time?? Looking forward to seeing you all and having a good time. "Grandpa's Toy" is ready to make some noise.

Last year it was sorta' dictated by the weather. It was a bit warm, runs were made later in the day. This year i think there's another event runnin' the same day??? I might do a lap in Jeff's Caah. Depends how things go.

That sounds like a good plan, then you and Billy Mac both will know what the tail lights look like on a 1960 Chevy BelAir. :D
