Yes that is the plan Novel-T,..as long as everything goes
well this weekend @ Woodburns season opener.
But yes i will be there too......

Heres some pics of some goofy animated headlights I tried
to paint on the car,..(Slick not quiting his daytime job), to paint.
I also pulled the side windows out and painted in the
window chrome.

I've found that it's amazing how some of the painted features like headlights and tail lights look. The guy that did the lettering on our last pulling truck did the tail lights. When you looked at them up close, they looked ok, but all you had to do was back up a few feet (the distance that most people walking by are going to view it at) and it was hard to convince someone that they weren't real lenses. I would say your headlights are much the same - in the pics they look great.

I am blown away by how much of a difference just those little touches made on that car, Vic. I have struggled mightily with the proposed new paint scheme. I can't for the life of me figure out how to make it look right...but I gotta say, that thing is absolutely gorgeous just like it is...I've opened the Photoshop picture of it and worked on it and I have not been pleased at all with what I have done with the RRRevell-type style. I tried a version using the template that Shane posted and came up just about in the same place...nowhere near right...I'm a big fan of this car and I think it's amazing how much you've accomplished with it. I'm just kind of bamboozled with that paint scheme... WC1

Thanks guys......Wildcat I agree, abort abort abort,..I mean
unless you want to master it,.go for it I would still use it.

Well sold the motor ,.money showed up to day so know
I am going to get my two clutches, and clutch can from fliptop
who has been very patient with me waiting for the money, so know
its a case of getting the rear end coupler and drive shaft,
oh and i need a enderle 110 fuel pump and nostalgia looking
timing cover,..yes yes,..just like the one`s that i had sold..
(Vic the dumb sh*t)..could of used the parts,..oh well buy more hehehe
Mooneyes is making me a fuel tank that matches the original
from Veneys vega so that will be cool,..ordered some new wilwood
rear calipers, the ones i have wont retract and the bores of the pistons
are grooved so new ones it is,...i put decal headlights on over my
poor attempt of painted ones so atleast it has a pair..lol, now on to
mounting the chute lever, fuel lever and mounting firebottles,.and
so on ,. and so on and so on,..never ending.

I am crew chief this weekend on Dave Germains
GERMINATOR top alky funny car in woodburn oregon this weekend.
This will be Daves first outing with the new ride.

THANKS GUYS FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT. :D :D :D
